Terms of Service (TOS)
CustomerSuccessU Affiliate Program
1. Introduction.
By joining this program, you agree to the Terms of Service (TOS) outlined below. This program is designed to reward affiliates who help promote CustomerSuccessU, a mission-driven nonprofit that offers free, high-quality Customer Success certification courses and resources.
2. Eligibility. To participate in the Affiliate Program, applicants must:
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have an active online presence (e.g., website, social media, or professional network).
• Agree to this Affiliate Program TOS and the general terms of CustomerSuccessU.
3. Enrollment. Anyone may apply to join the Affiliate Program. All applications are subject to review and approval by CustomerSuccessU. Upon approval, affiliates will receive a unique affiliate link to share.
4. Affiliate Links and Tracking. Once an individual registers for a free CustomerSuccessU account through your unique affiliate link, they are permanently associated with you as their affiliate referrer. All purchases made by that individual, now or in the future, will be credited to your account for commission purposes.
5. Commissions. Affiliates earn a 20% commission on all purchases made by users who initially registered through their unique affiliate link. This applies in perpetuity for each referred member. Commissions are calculated on net sales (excluding refunds or chargebacks) and are subject to review. CustomerSuccessU reserves the right to change the commission rate at any time, without prior notice. Any such changes will apply to future commissions and will be reflected in your affiliate dashboard.
6. Payout Schedule and Minimum Threshold. Commission payouts will be made monthly, 7 days after the end of each calendar month, provided that the affiliate has earned a minimum of $40 USD. If the threshold is not met, earnings will roll over to the following month. All payments are made via PayPal, and affiliates are responsible for ensuring their payment details are current. CustomerSuccessU reserves the right to adjust the payout schedule or minimum payout threshold at any time without prior notice.
7. Marketing and Promotion. Affiliates are encouraged to promote their link widely, with the following limitations:
• You may not post your affiliate link in the comment section of any official CustomerSuccessU social media posts, or in the comment section to any member’s post that features their certification or mentions CustomerSuccessU.
• You may not impersonate CustomerSuccessU, use CustomerSuccessU branding in a misleading way, or imply a formal partnership.
• Spamming, misleading advertising, incentivized clicks, and cookie stuffing are strictly prohibited.
• Affiliates must comply with applicable laws and FTC guidelines, including proper disclosure of affiliate relationships.
8. Relationship of the Parties. Affiliates are independent marketers and not employees, agents, or partners of CustomerSuccessU. Affiliates may not represent themselves as acting on behalf of CustomerSuccessU.
9. Intellectual Property. Affiliates may use official promotional assets provided by CustomerSuccessU. Any misleading use of CustomerSuccessU logos, names, or content may result in suspension or termination of the affiliate account.
10. Fraud and Abuse Prevention. CustomerSuccessU reserves the right to investigate any affiliate for suspected fraud or abuse. Self-referrals, use of multiple accounts, or unethical behavior will lead to forfeiture of commissions and termination of participation in the program.
11. Termination. Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship at any time with written notice. Upon termination, the affiliate must cease using all CustomerSuccessU promotional materials and remove affiliate links from public content.
12. Limitation of Liability. CustomerSuccessU is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages related to the affiliate program. Total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount of commissions paid to the affiliate in the last 12 months, or $2,000, whichever is greater.
13. Modification of Terms. CustomerSuccessU reserves the right to modify this Affiliate Program TOS at any time. Continued participation in the program constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
14. Data Privacy. Affiliates must comply with data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA. Affiliates may not misuse or share data collected through the program.
15. Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, where CustomerSuccessU is based.
16. Agreement. By participating in the CustomerSuccessU Affiliate Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
